Student Life
Columbia College Hollywood is committed to cultivating, inspiring, and empowering students with a wide variety of need- and merit-based scholarships and grants. Unlike student loans, these scholarships and grants don’t have to be repaid and are awarded exclusively to Columbia College Hollywood students enrolled on the Los Angeles Main Campus, at the Chicago Branch Campus, and in a CCH Online degree program.
Each scholarship or grant has specific eligibility requirements, application instructions, and submission deadlines. Students are encouraged to apply for all scholarships for which they may be eligible, as some scholarships can be combined up to the total tuition and institutional charges per academic year.
Scholarship deadline information can be found HERE.
All institutional grants and scholarships are non-transferable and carry no redeemable cash value. Credit balances created as the result of the application of an institutional grant(s) or scholarship(s) to a student account will be retained on the student’s account and applied to the subsequent term(s) until exhausted. Final scholarship awards are at the sole discretion of the Scholarship Committee. In the event that a student delays their original start date, all institutional scholarship and grant awards may be forfeited.

As a liberal arts college, we want to do our part in helping students start their degree with affordable options for covering the cost of tuition. The CCH Golden State Institutional Grant is offered in lieu of Cal Grant as CCH is not participating for the 2021-22 academic year.

At CCH, we believe it is important to take a stand by demonstrating our willingness to promote and inspire systemic change. We must speak honestly and truthfully to the ugliness of racism that permeates throughout our society today. It may be an uncomfortable conversation for some, but it is an all-too familiar reality for anyone living in this country with black or brown skin. Hiding from it, ignoring it, or being silent about it will not make it go away.
