Ben is an accomplished screenwriter. His thriller, “Refuge” is currently in production. He also recently penned a horror script for producer Jeremy Bolt, and is currently working on an adaptation of an acclaimed video game property.

Building the modern filmmaker. In today’s and tomorrow’s media industry, screenwriters act. Actors produce and direct. Cinematographers edit. A CCH BFA in Cinema gives each student a broad exposure to all disciplines in the cinema world.

What It Takes
BFA: 3 – 4 years 192 hours
The BFA Cinema program prepares you to start your career in the film, television, and digital media industries. Most importantly, you’ll acquire the skills, experience, and knowledge you need to develop your own projects and create your own career path as a filmmaker and visual storyteller.
The program is designed to accelerate you into your career in as few as 3 years. CCH offers a Career Accelerator Scholarship to help students in this process.
AFA: 1.5 – 2 Years 96 Hours
The AFA Cinema program provides you with hands-on, practical experience with the basic technical, creative, and business elements involved in creating visual content for film and television.

Upon successfully completing the BFA in Cinema, students will be able to:
- Implement storytelling form and technique in the cinematic arts, from writing and development through production and post-production.
- Make use of the tools and techniques of professional cinema production.
- Evaluate works of cinema with regard to cultural influences and historical precedents.
- Apply knowledge of business practices, legal standards, and protocols specific to entertainment industries.
- Justify plans and decisions as the result of research, consensus building, and critical thinking.
