On behalf of the entire Columbia College Hollywood Community, we want to congratulate and welcome you to the CCH family! Starting this summer, you will take the first of many steps on the remarkable journey ahead of you. We want to assure you that you have a strong group of cheerleaders, supporters, mentors, and advisors here to help you make the most of your time.
Orientation marks the start to students’ CCH Orientation Experience, a program designed to help students explore their new community. The CCH Experience is divided into three sections: Pre-Orientation Workshops, The Community Experience and LA Experience. Register for these events through the form on the side of the page.
CCH will host three workshops on professional development, financial tools, and academic and support resources. These one-hour workshops will be held on June 22nd, 23rd, and 24th at noon PDT. As part of your orientation experience, all new students are required to attend these pre-orientation workshops.
New Student Orientation is designed to introduce you to your new campus community. You’ll have the opportunity to learn strategies for adjusting to college life, and establish relationships with your peers, faculty and student support staff. The Community Experience event will take place on June 30th from 10 am to 1 pm PDT and The LA Experience event will take place on July 1st from 10 am to 2 pm PDT.
Learn how to manage your finances during your first year in college. Topics include information about bill payments, financial aid and how to formulate a personal budget for living expenses.

Becoming an expert at email is a necessity at CCH. Learn how to master your Gmail and discover other key functions inside Google Suite.

The CCH Career Development team will review their specialized strategy for student success, specifically as it pertains to the entertainment business. The session includes an overview of the pathway, focusing on networking, internships, and resume/ portfolio development.

Join us for the ultimate community experience. Explore how to make informed academic decisions and responsible social choices by tapping into CCH’s resources and services as you connect with faculty, staff, administrators and peers.
All incoming students are required to attend. Students must register by Friday, June 25, 2021 in order to participate.

This program is a traditional half-day orientation program that introduces students to the LA campus community and reviews campus-specific policies and procedures.
All incoming students are required to attend.

At CCH, we believe it is important to take a stand by demonstrating our willingness to promote and inspire systemic change. We must speak honestly and truthfully to the ugliness of racism that permeates throughout our society today. It may be an uncomfortable conversation for some, but it is an all-too familiar reality for anyone living in this country with black or brown skin. Hiding from it, ignoring it, or being silent about it will not make it go away.
