One College, Two Campuses
Columbia College Hollywood offers mission-aligned liberal arts degree programs on our U.S. campuses in Los Angeles and Chicago.
LOS ANGELES MAIN CAMPUS
The main campus is located in the West San Fernando Valley neighborhood, Tarzana, built on former ranch land owned by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the creator of Tarzan. The neighborhood is bordered on the south by Topanga State Park and on the west by the Santa Susana Mountains.
The campus offers easy access to film, television, game, and animation studios and is less than 20 miles from the beaches of Malibu. Los Angeles area attractions, such as the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Downtown Los Angeles, Universal Studios Theme Park, and major studios, including Walt Disney Studios, Universal Studios, and Sony Picture Studios, are accessible by public transportation.
FLASHPOINT CHICAGO CAMPUS
In August 2020, the Flashpoint Chicago campus moved from its former location in the Burnham Center to classroom and studio space on the Roosevelt University campus located at 425 South Wabash Avenue in the Chicago Loop. While both colleges remain independent institutions with unique identities, the new location provides Flashpoint Chicago students with access to Roosevelt University campus amenities such as housing, food service, cultural and sporting events, fitness center, library, and all student resources open to the general Roosevelt University population.
Founded in 1945, Roosevelt University is home to the Chicago College of the Performing Arts, a natural partner for Columbia College Hollywood’s creative degree programs. The university’s campus building on Wabash is the tallest educational building in Chicago and is located in the heart of the vibrant South Loop neighborhood with close proximity to restaurants, Grant Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, and multiple Chicago “L” and bus lines.
Chicago area attractions, such as The Art Institute of Chicago, the historic Rookery Building, and the Museum of Science and Industry are accessible by public transportation, on foot, or by bikeshare. Union Station, offering Amtrak and Metro train transportation, is a 15 minute walk from the campus. CTA train stations are located just blocks from the campus offering easy public transit access to both O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport.

At CCH, we believe it is important to take a stand by demonstrating our willingness to promote and inspire systemic change. We must speak honestly and truthfully to the ugliness of racism that permeates throughout our society today. It may be an uncomfortable conversation for some, but it is an all-too familiar reality for anyone living in this country with black or brown skin. Hiding from it, ignoring it, or being silent about it will not make it go away.
