Complete a Student Authorization Form For Direct Deposit Refunds form to have your financial aid refund directly deposited into your bank account. A financial aid refund results when the amount of your financial aid for a specific academic term exceeds your charges for that term. Your student account must reflect a credit balance before any refund is issued. Direct Deposit is a faster and safer way to receive your student refunds as the funds become available sooner to you and the risk of lost or stolen checks is removed.
Step 1. Follow the link to the Authorization form and print it.
Step 2. Fill out the required information along with signatures, and mail, fax, email or bring it into the Business Office along with a voided check from the checking account where you want the funds deposited. To void a check, simply write the word “VOID” across a blank check. This ensures that nobody can use the check but still allows us to verify your account information. Incomplete forms or forms returned without a voided check will not be processed.
The image below shows how to locate your Bank Routing Number and Account number on your check. This information is needed for the Direct Deposit authorization form.
Step 3. Return the form to us:

Direct Deposit Refund FAQ’s
How soon will my direct deposit start?
Your direct deposit will be activated within one to two weeks after your authorization form is received. If your account shows a refund before your authorization form has been processed, you will receive your refund in the form of a paper check.
Will CCH notify me whenever a refund is made into my account?
All students are sent an electronic message when a transaction posts to their account on the CCH Online Portal. Please be sure that you keep your email address on the Portal current.
Do I have the option of leaving my credit balance on my account in order to pay for future charges?
Yes. You can do this contacting the Business Office.
How long does it take for my refund to reach my bank?
Banking institutions vary in the amount of time it takes for electronic deposits to post to their customer accounts, but most deposits post 24-48 hours after the transaction has been sent to you bank. Please contact your bank to verify their policy.
What else do I need to know?
If you are a continuing student, your authorization remains current as long as you are enrolled but you are not required to re-authorize every year. However you must complete a new form if you change your banking institution. If you wish to cancel your Direct Deposit authorization, please do so by contacting the Business Office.
